Computer Workshop - Anthony Butera

Presenter – Anthony Butera, Literacy Specialist

June 15, 1999 and June 29, 1999 from 9 am to 4 pm

Location: Fresno Room - Stanislaus County Office of Education, County Center 111, Modesto, CA

Purpose - Participants will learn about and understand the importance of Phonemic Awareness in a pre-school classroom and its relation to language acquisition and learning to read! In addition, participants will learn the different types of Phonemic Awareness activities to help foster language acquisition in the classroom. This workshop is targeted for pre-school teachers, home base teachers and other educators concerned with early childhood development and language acquisition.
